PUNO AND TITICACA
01: Sillustani
Reception and transfer to the hotel in Puno. Private visit service to the “Chullpas” of Sillustani, 34 km to the north of Puno (35 minutes by car). On the shores of Lake Umayo. This place is famous for its circular stone towers erected to house the remains of the ancient inhabitants of the Collao. Some of up to 12 meters high, are characterized by the size of their bases is less than that of the top. Back to the hotel.
Day 02: Uros & Taquile speedboat
Breakfast at the hotel. Pick up from the hotel at 07:00 am and transfer to the port. We start speedboat at 07:30 am to the Uros Islands. On the route we will observe the National Reserve of Lake Titicaca. Arrive at the Floating Islands, these are made of reed, aquatic plant. We embarked again, towards the Taquile Island, where we arrived at 12:00 pm This site is presented intact Inca community. “Platforms” or farming terraces appreciate old. We can talk and lunch with the islanders. Return to Puno at 03:30 pm and transfer to the hotel.
Day 03: Puno
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to Juliaca airport or the bus terminal in Puno. End of services.
CUSCO | VINICUNCA, MOUNTAIN COLORS
Mountain Colors or Vinicunca, is a magical place of unique landscapes. It is located towards the valley of the Ausangate, at 5,200 meters above sea level in the province of Quipicanchis, to the east of the city of Cusco south. It owes its incredible coloring minerals which houses its soil.
Pick up from your hotel in Cusco at 04:00 am, for a three hours by bus through the south valley. Along the way we will see several varieties of South American camelids, as well as breathtaking views of “platforms” or agricultural terraces, canyons and snow. We passed through the village of Pitumarca and continue to Huachipata. Breakfast is included. We continue until the start of the trail. A place called Quesiuno about 4,326 meters above sea level, where we arrived around 08:30 am, starting point of our trek. The rise is approximately 3 hours until the highest point of the mountain colors. The walk has sections of high degree of difficulty so you should be in good physical condition. Once at the top of the Mountain of Colors, we have time to take pictures of this enigmatic place. After the visit, a walk of less than three hours of descent leads us to the starting point to again aboard our transport heading Pitumarka where lunch is included. Throughout the way we have beautiful views of the snowy Ausangate. Finally we return to Cusco, arriving around 05:30 pm. The tour ends at the Plaza de Armas of Cusco.
